What is Brooklyn Murals?

Brooklyn Murals is a collaborative summer project put on in partnership with numerous organizations, artists, businesses and officially sponsored by the non-profit organization Make The Road NY. The project consists of a summer mural art class taught to Bushwick teens by Brooklyn's famous street artists. The project will result in three walls of Bushwick, Brooklyn being repainted with various empowering themes by participating artists and Brooklyn youth. The concept of Brooklyn Murals is to continue the talent and flavor of Brooklyn through the practice of Brooklyn street artists and the empowerment of Brooklyn youth.


Mural project in Bushwick:

July 8th-August 15th

Class will be taught Monday-Thursday 2:30-4pm

Mural Production Weekends are July 12th, July 19th, July 26th, and August 2nd

August 16th: Unveiling and Community Celebration
